Born in Sydney, Australia, where he trained and worked as an architect, he was originally ordained by the Methodist church of Australia.
In 1973 he founded The Temple Trust, later named Vision Ministries. His ministry in Australia found him holding large conferences and sponsoring crusades featuring world-renowned leaders in the charismatic renewal. He also edited a national charismatic magazine called Vision Magazine, established a Bible College, and hosted the Australian PTL Club television program. In 1980, after he turned over the leadership of Vision Ministries/Australia to another leader, he moved to the USA to develop an international base for his ministry.
From 1986 to 2000 he was the Senior Pastor of Antioch Christian Fellowship. The ministry of Antioch Christian Fellowship included ACTS International (Antioch Christian Training School), plus many specialized ministries reaching out to the community and the world, including church planting both locally and overseas.

Mitchel Plaisted is a licensed minister with a passion to not only make his life a light of Christ to the world, but also to help others become lights as well.
Having grown up in ministry under his grandfather – Pastor Alan Langstaff – and father – the late Pastor David Plaisted, Mitchel has carried on their legacy with over seven years heading up the youth ministry at a church in Chaska, MN, serving as a youth counselor at Park Harbor Church‘s Burn4Him kids camp, and leading four Jr. & Sr. High Youth Weekend Conferences. Beyond his service in youth ministry, Mitchel also spent ten years volunteering as his church’s head AV technician; as well as, being a part of the worship team. As a homeschool graduate, Mitchel achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and is now pursuing further ministry education through Global University’s Berean Bible School. Today, Mitchel lives with his wife – Katie – in Chaska, Minnesota where they raise their precious son, David, in addition to running Frontline Ministries Minnesota. They are currently members of Waterbrooke Church (Victoria, MN). Mitchel works full time as Technical & Sales Support at Digital Audio Labs (Chanhassen, MN); as well as with Katie as co-director of their video production company – Katie Travis Films, LLC / Keyframe Videography.
Katie Plaisted has a passion for discipling those in the visual and performing arts to use their gifts to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to those in darkness.
Born in New York state, Katie was raised in an evangelical missionary family who used the performing arts to share the Gospel around the world. For eight years she was a part of the touring stage show “Illusion & Beyond”; and for over twenty years was trained in classical ballet and performance with seventeen of those years at Reign Dance Theater – a non-profit theatrical dance organization. Upon graduating as a homeschool student, Katie went on to achieve a Cinema Production Certificate as well as an Associates Degree in Cinema: Directing & Producing from the Minneapolis Community and Technical College – where her thesis film won in the 2012 Cinema Excellence Awards. After college, Katie founded her own video production company – Katie Travis Films, LLC – creating several narrative short films, two of which have also gone on as Official Selections in film festivals across the country. Her passion to pass on the skills she has learned to the next generation of blossoming artists and to inspire them to use their gifts to praise our Lord Jesus Christ with excellence and professionalism – brought her to teach filmmaking, acting, and storytelling at several homeschool co-ops between 2017-2020. During this time Katie also had the pleasure of leading a number of Jr. High girls discipleship groups, serve as a worship leader and youth leader at a church in Chaska, MN, and be a youth counselor at Park Harbor Church’s Burn4Him kids camp. Today, Katie lives with her husband – Mitchel – in Chaska, MN where they raise their two precious sons, David and Ethan, in addition to being the administrator and a worship leader at Kairos Ministries. They are currently members of Waterbrooke Church (Victoria, MN).
PASSION
Naomi Plaisted has a deep passion and love for God and his Word. She desires to see other’s lives changed by the Gospel through discipleship rooted in the study of God’s Word and it’s transforming power. She also has a heart for the performing arts and seeing the Gospel proclaimed to a world that is lost in darkness.
MINISTRY
From a young age, Naomi has had a passion for dancing. She danced for 12+ years at Reign Dance Theater as well as taught dance for one and a half years. This passion and love for dance brought her to do a six-month Discipleship Training School in Lakeside, Montana with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the fall of 2016. She recieved training in Montana for the first three months and then spent the last three months as a missionary in Cambodia where her team used dance to share the Gospel. She then returned in the fall of 2017 to Lakeside, Montana to participate in YWAM’s School of Biblical Studies, a 9 month intensive course dedicated to inductively studying the Bible from cover to cover. Naomi has also volunteered with her church’s children’s ministry for much of her teen years and more recently has taught and participated with youth conferences at Church On The Hill in Chaska, MN. She has also been on numerous short term missions trips with her church including trips to Peru, Italy, Israel, and Jamaica. Currently, she enjoys serving in ministry with her husband, Timothy, at Promise Church (Waconia, MN). They live in Norwood Young America, MN.
I’m a husband, dad, and son as well as an encourager, student and teacher. I fight fires and run medical calls on nights and weekends and during the day, I wear a multitude of hats from OSHA compliance to electronics assembly at Digital Audio Labs. Ah, but, my REAL passion is seeing individuals and teams thrive through transformational leadership (AKA, intentional relationships). There is nothing better than seeing the fire ignite in a person when they “get it” or achieve that goal once thought impossible.
Faith – Leadership – Strength
"What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” - Mark 8:36
Though my parents were from Indiana I was born and raised in Minnesota. They were Quakers but there aren’t many in Minnesota so we went to the Presbyterian Church. It was in the church’s youth group that I accepted Jesus at 12 on a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters. In high school, I was in a YFC sponsored Christian singing group where we sang about and witnessed about Jesus to various churches and youth groups around the Midwest.
I studied commercial music at Belmont University in Nashville, TN before transferring (or running away) to Bethel College in St. Paul, MN, where I met my wife, Martha. We married after graduation and moved to Sioux Falls, SD where I attended Seminary and received my Master of Arts in Bible and Theology.
Since then, I have led worship for 25 years now; most of them as a full-time worship pastor. These days I am a substitute teacher while playing my own music or leading worship wherever. Music has always been a part of my life. I began violin lessons at age 5, piano at 7, taught myself guitar during my early college years as well as experimenting with hammered dulcimer and other instruments. I have been married to my best friend Martha for over 25 years now and have 3 amazing kids who challenge me daily. We see our life as our ministry and together we are passionate to reach our community for Christ. We enjoy life together as a family riding bike, eating ice cream and having pizza on Sundays.
